Review – Coast to Coast

Just in time for SOS, KHP Music in association with the great members of The National Association of R&B Dee Jays has released his fourteen track compilation for your dancing and listening pleasure. “Hey Mr. Dee Jay (Spin A Tune For Me)” is first up. I know I have used this line before in other reviews, but this Bill Ballard penned tuned, sung by Lonne Givens is the perfect choice to kick things off. This song should be one of the hottest breakout songs at Spring Safari. Up next is one of the smoothest guys I know, Gary Brown, on “Let’s Dance”. This one should get a lot of attention

Review – Forever Summer II

Not being a company to rest on their laurels, KHP Music has released this fifteen-track compilation that has some of the best beach, boogie and soul music these ears have heard. I don’t have a crystal ball, but it’s not hard to predict that this CD could easily spawn several Top 10 and possibly #1 tunes. “All The Good Times” is the latest from Lia and The Wave and it kicks off this project. “That’s My Story” from Cracked Ice, featuring shared lead vocals of Brent Carter (formerly with Tower of Power) and Susan D has started making it on the air waves and in the clubs.
