Hello Beach Music Friends and Fellow CBMA Members!

Another CBMA is behind us and I think the weekend was incredible. I want to thank the Carpenters and CBMA for the appreciation award and my picture in the CBMA program. It has been a big year for beach music. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees for the 2017 CBMAs.

2sday Contest Winner

I never thought picking 2 winners would be so hard. Out of hundreds of submissions, only about 15 people accurately picked 2 winners. Congrats Helen K for being drawn out of all the correct entries. She picked Blackwater Rhythm & Blues Band for Album of the Year and Band of Oz for Group of the Year! She wins the prize from BuyBeachMusic.com. Look for the email Helen! Thanks to all that participated. I think a lot of people submitted their favorites. I picked two 4 days in a row and only got 1 of the 4 days correct.

Big Congrats to Ocean Drive Beach Music Festival

In its first year, the OD Beach Music Festival was announced CBMA event of the year for 2017. I know Edge Entertainment, KHP Music, and 94.9 The Surf put a lot of work into the show this past May and look forward to bringing it to you again on May 5th, 2018. Tickets go on sale the last week of 2017 during the annual parties in OD at the Galleon, Beach Club and Fat Harold’s.

Get Ready for Turkey Day

Don’t forget to come party on Wednesday November 22nd with the Band of Oz. Sherman Sandlin, Shaun Lamm and the Band of Oz will be back at the Mad Boar for the Turkey Ball. Get tickets and tables ordered today – It will sell out!
