It is Friday, May 12th and I am for the first time in a long time adding a post to beachmusiconline.com. With all the events and all the websites, it is easy to forget about the sites that got it all started sometimes. I have moved this site many times, changing the theme and direction on numerous occasions over the last 15-16 years. I had every intention at the beginning of the year to update it with a post every day. If you browse around just a little bit, you can see it did not happen. I had one person ask me if I was still involved in beach music. YES!!! I am still very much involved.
I want to thank everyone that continues to visit the website. It still gets a lot of traffic every day mainly due to the Band Schedules Page. I try to keep those links updated, but with so many changes….it is easy to get behind. Thanks to those that let me know when you find a problem, something that has changed or needs to be added.
Last weekend was HUGE!
If you attended the first ever Ocean Drive Beach Music Festival on May 6th, I want to tell you THANK YOU! It was a big weekend and a lot of people worked hard to make this event so successful. We had a lot of fun and look forward to doing it again next year on the same weekend, May 4th and 5th, 2018. Go ahead and plan to be in Ocean Drive that first weekend of May in 2018.

More Big Events Coming
The Summer has not even officially started but the festival season has. There has already been a lot of outside events with more coming all summer long. Beach Music Radio
There are a lot of great stations out there playing the best music in the world. My dial is tuned to 94.9 The Surf most of the time, but I do pop over to many of the other stations and know that there is a lot of good music being played. If you are working with a beach music radio station or show, please fill out this beach music radio survey. It will be worth the time. I promise!
