There has been a lot of things happening in Beach Music Radio Land. Ocean Drive Beach Music Festival was HUGE
If you missed the big event this past weekend, you missed an awesome show. The 2017 CBMA Event of the year did not disappoint in 2018. It was a lot of work for the committee and staff, but it was worth it! We thank everyone that bought tickets and supported LIVE Carolina Beach Music in Ocean Drive at the Second Annual Ocean Drive Beach Music Festival presented by Carolina Outdoor Power Equipment and 94.9 The Surf. The Bands were great the weather was great and I think everyone had a good time. I know the team that brought this event to you is looking forward to the next one!

A couple of weeks ago, tickets went on sale for the first ever Lowcountry Beach Music Festival in Hanahan, SC. You may ask, “Where is Hanahan, SC?” It is a little town just north of Charleston and will be a beautiful setting for the Lowcountry Beach Music Festival on July 7th, 2018. There are a limited number of Early Bird Tickets available now. Don’t miss this event! Just Look at the Lineup and see the Hanahan Amphitheater in the background.
Conched Out in the Keys 3
I am so excited about going to Key West in October with Jim Quick & Coastline. This will be the 3rd time for the Conched Out Key West Destination event. This is NOT a Cruise, we will be taking over a little boutique hotel for 4 days and 4 Nights of Coastline Time mixed in with a little King Tyrone. Thanks to Deckerz, 94.9 The Surf and Riptide Radio for making this happen! We have announced a SellOUT on rooms. We have had a few back out and offer up their spot at the hotel. If you would like to go, please call me at 843-280-9000 and be ready to give me a $500 deposit to lock-in one of the last couple of rooms available this for this EPIC Event in Key West, Florida.

Bo, What bands besides Jim Quick and Coastline will be in Key West? Four days sounds like a big party….
Its just Jim Quick & Coastline, King Tyrone and DJ Ray Scott. 3 Pool Parties, a show at the Smokin’ Tuna in KW and 2 private concerts at the host hotel. It will be a blast for a small intimate crowd of Coastline Crazies! October can’t get here here ‘Quick’ Enough!
While in the car I listen to mostly RipTide radio, for some reason their desktop broadcasts “skip” too much. At work on the desktop there are 4 different stations I listen too: Beach Shag Rhythm and Blues, Mitch Harb’s Beach Party, Q Rock Radio and Kool Winds Radio.
Thanks from the feedback, Norm! I know from my experience, the apps seem to work better for all the online stations than the desktop streams.
