I just got the word that Dink Perry formerly of the Breeze Band passed away last night in Rocky Mount. I am already getting emails and calls from a lot of people that loved Dink. Nearly everyone I know involved in Beach Music has probably been entertained by Dink Perry. He will surely be missed.

I took care of a member of the band The Breeze when he flipped his car returning from playing at Myrtle Beach (1988-1998 is timeframe). He found me later to thank me and shared how he was able to play guitar again despite nerve damage. Do you remember his name? I think that it was Dink.
I met and became friends with Dink and the guys in 1987.I did live audio and drove the truck for all shows from April 1987- !Aug.1990. Our line-up then was Dink,Dan,Steve,Barney,Steve,Greg And I can’t recall the drummer.I was fresh out of Recording Studio /Live Audio Engineering School. I will miss him greatly,I did the original demo live for Lovers Holiday. They carried it in the Studio and did take after take to get that same feel. And history speaks for itself. I hope this page is still maintained. I would like to get any feed back as to contacts for any of the old Breeze Band.
