Bo the Webguy here.. for another Beach Music update coming to you from Sunny North Myrtle Beach – via Little River. We enjoyed seeing friends at The Beach Sports Bar and Grill – Tommy and Christina were playing inside. The grouper bites were pretty good! I think they are working on a website. TUESDAY NIGHT – I am hosting another cornhole tournament at THE Beach in Little River, so I hope you can come out, be there before 6 to get in the drawing for teams. You have to be looking on facebook for more events. I know they are working on a lot of good things for football season.
Today Sunday August 11th
At the home of the Fat Man, plan to get over to Fat Harold’s Beach Club for a special event to raise money for Donny Trexler. The Donny Trexler Benefit starts at 6 PM – a ton of artists are planning to be there! Sea Cruz starts at 6PM and I am sure they will be singing their number 1 hit song “Hey Eugene”. Jim Quick & Coastline will also be playing and back up many of your favorite beach music artists for this big event.
Shag Lessons are Monday and Tuesday. Some of the best DJs at the beach are playing all week at Harold’s. BIG NEWS – Thursday night, one of my favorite bunch of guys happen to be taking the inside stage at Fat Harold’s Beach Club – Blackwater Rhythm and Blues Band will be playing Thursday Night August 15th! AWESOME!
The Castaways are playing in Cherry Grove at HOTOs today at 1PM.
If you are in or near Raleigh Thursday Night the 15th… The Fantastic Shakers are playing at TJ’s Night Life for TJ’s Beach Party! Special Guest Angel Rissoff!
Friday Night is almost always a big time in Greensboro at Thirsty’s 2.. but not this week unless you are part of the private party. Plan to be at Thirsty’s 2 next Sunday the 18th for the Band of Oz at 1PM.
