The follow-up to “Locals Only” arrived in high musical style. Fifteen tracks adorn this compilation and several are already on play lists all over Beach Music Land. There is no “one or two” songs here that are the pick of the litter. Take a listen to The Pat Carpenter Band’s version of “Lucky Lucky Me”. I love Jimmy Ruffin’s & Marvin Gaye’s versions of this tune, but PCB takes it to another level. It’s THAT good. The upbeat “Like To See My Baby” from Angel Rissoff and King Tyrone is another jewel in this musical crown. One of the hottest groups in the “up and coming” category, The Magnificents, score big time
