The Beach Music world seems to always get split among the shag dancers and the band followers. I know some of the fans tend to fall in both categories. and I can understand the ones that like to dance. There are times the bands don’t always play music that you can shag too. For me, I really like going to see the bands. I, like most of you, have my favorites.
Do you go see the artists and beach music groups when they play in your area? Do you travel to North Myrtle Beach for big events that feature the groups on stage, decks, and parking lots? Do you pay cover charges?

Last saw Sea Cruz @ 2001 01/2014. Before that it was CWB & Atlantic Groove on different dates in Salisbury NC. I have to step out of the Beach Music genre to go see the Wrinkle Neck Mules in Raleigh on March 1. Absolute fabulous Rock-County-Bluegrass band that only comes to NC about pnce every 2 years.
