I don’t know about you, but I am ready for 2020 to be over. Things have got to get better soon. News released yesterday (July 29th, 2020) in South Carolina has a lot of people getting excited. There will be those that may not be ready for events in the Grand Strand, but there are a lot of fans ready to get out. I know I am ready to see some LIVE Beach Music bands play again at the place where it all began.

The band events that got cancelled due to COVID have been rescheduled. 5 Events are planned for the month of August at the OD Pavilion. Special thanks to 94.9 The Surf and all the sponsors that are making this happen.

Yesterday was my birthday and I got a lot of birthday wishes on Facebook through my profile and instant messages. Got a lot of text messages too. Thanks again to all those that took a moment of their day to wish me a happy birthday. It wasn’t many years ago that I was on the beach with Jim Quick trying to consume all the beverages he managed to get for me at HOTOs and Fat Harold’s. This year was much different. I had a great time with Family and my ABSOLUTELY Favoritist person in the world, Angela.
BTW, if you need a place to stay at the beach – Grand Strand Vacations for Beach Rentals

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING BEACH MUSIC
This summer has been really tough on a lot of people in the beach music world. Think about the artists, djs, wait staff, cooks, bartenders, barbacks, bar owners, and many local business owners that rely on our industry. There are some that think it is too early. We understand some are not ready to get back out yet. Please refrain from negative comments on the various social media sites. Be happy for those getting back to work.
