I had 2 people come up to me last night and thank me for this website.. I thank you the reader for checking out my posts, featured events, beach music news and updates. I have some other thank you’s to extend.

Beach Clubs and Lounges

I wanted to throw this out there and say Thank You to the clubs and lounges on Main Street and Ocean Drive. Thanks for providing a place to dance, see and hear the bands, listen to the tunes of the DJs and enjoy being with friends that love beach music and the Shag Dance. There is a lot of talk about who keeps this thing we call beach music and the shag going… I think we are very lucky to have so many places right here in North Myrtle Beach that provide what our beach music lifestyle desires.

Party in NMB – The Place to BE!

IT BE TIME for another party in North Myrtle Beach. The Adults are coming to NMB for Spring Break 2014. That’s right! Another Spring Safari hosted by SOS. Click here to see the sos events and club flyers. A lot of my friends coming to town, to hang out at Fat Harold’s, The Spanish Galleon, Pirate’s Cove, Ducks, The OD Arcade. I have a bunch of friends that will be at OD Pavilion and Swillie’s Hideaway too! Have fun out there and be safe.

Newest Band to Hit the Scene

I am excited to hear that the new band is being announced today. Look for the new website and schedule coming out just in time for SOS this weekend. Albert Rogers, Doug Winstead, Hugh Blanton, Guy Brooks and Little John Thompson have all recently decided to go out and form the ultimate band – 5th Bass!

Beach Music Scene and Shag City Events

The Spring Edition of Beach Music Scene is going to print. Activity on Shag City USA has been going crazy since they announced that all events posted on the site would be listed in the upcoming magazine.. You have until Midnight Wednesday Night , March 19th, to join the site and post your beach music events.
