I was thinking about what I could write for New Year’s Eve of 2014. 2013 is nearly over.. 2014 will be here tomorrow. Are you a fan of Beach Music? Will you help support beach music in 2014? I put together a list of things to do in 2014.

We are days away from the Annual Poem from Jim Quick. Every year, Jim Quick sums up the last year in Beach Music during the Saturday of CBMA at the Industry Awards Presentation. Are you a fan of Carolina Beach Music? I am not talking about facebook friends and likes on this blog post. I am asking if you support the bands, the clubs, the promoters and events. The term beach music has a lot of people confused that have never experienced what we as fans have followed here in the Carolinas for years. Some of us have been fans of this type of music much longer than others. Its origin has about as many different views as the Shag Dance.
